Neobanks, small and challenger to traditional banks, are on the rise, disrupting the banking industry as we know it. Chime, one of the fastest-growing bank accounts in America, is one such Neobank.
Chime banking wants to change the way you bank. This means no more ridiculous bank fees to worry about, earlier pay days with Direct Deposit, and an easier automatic way to grow your savings, among many other perks. Switching to Chime is simple; it is free to join, takes less than two minutes, and applying for an account won’t affect your credit score. Once you create an account, you will receive a Chime Visa Debit Card, a Spending Account, and an optional Savings Account – all to be managed through a mobile banking app. Unlike many bigger banks we are familiar with, the Chime account has no monthly fees, no minimum balance, no overdraft, no foreign transaction fees, and no transfer fees. Within the app, you can choose to have balance notifications or transaction alerts through text.
People are loving the easy to use, easy to save banking solution. Many are choosing to bank with Neobanks such as Chime over larger banks. Would you be willing to give it a try? To learn more, or to apply for your own account, visit here.
As a part of partnering with Datto, many of our employees have recently received their Technical Specialist II certifications. Since most employees already received their Technical Specialist I certification, they have now spent the past several months training through Datto Academy for the second training certification. This will provide a better understanding of products as well as improve end-user customer satisfaction. We would like to recognize Jose Garcia, Danny Moskowitz, Glenn Chamberlain, Joseph Gonzalez, Joe Pullara, Peter Beierle, and Wilfredo Pizarro on the successful completion of both certifications. Other employees will be completing both by the beginning of the new year!
Tip of the Month
As we reach the end of 2018, we want to give you our last tip of the month for the year. If you’re having a hard time viewing pictures or videos, or are noticing slow loading webpages, this is the tip for you. No matter how fast machines may be, websites are hosted and can often require a refresh. Traditionally you can click on the refresh button, or close and re-open the window or tab you are in. However, we have a quicker way to easily perform a website refresh: all you have to do is press the F5 button which will immediately refresh the current tab or window. We hope this tip will help your work move along more easily without waiting around for a slow webpage, photo, or video to load.
